United Sign Second Keeper

Torquay United have completed the signing of a second goalkeeper in as many days with the arrival of Shaun MacDonald.
MacDonald, 21, comes to United from Blyth Spartans, having previously been with Gateshead.
“He’s some that I have worked with in the past, up at Gateshead,” said TUFC head coach, Gary Owers.
“He has experience of playing in the National League and he came down to play in the trial games at the end of last season, which we held. He did very, very well.”
“He was in my thoughts and he drove down here for seven hours and he’s been rewarded for that. I want him to come in and compete with Alex [Bass) for that spot.”
